Baker Plumbing Services sits at the intersection of two things that rarely come together in the trade. Four decades of hands-on plumbing experience, paired with the systems, discipline and project management standards of a Tier One builder.

Mitchell Baker (Director) started in plumbing at age 15, completed his apprenticeship, then pursued a Bachelor of Construction Management at Western Sydney University. From 2018 to 2021 he undertook a project management cadetship with Multiplex Constructions on Quay Quarter Tower and the UNSW Biological Sciences Stage 2 projects, rotating through Contracts Administration, Safety, Quality, Site, Design and Document Control. That experience shaped how Baker Plumbing Services operates today.

That experience changed how he saw the industry. Sitting on the builder's side of the table, he watched how the best projects in the country were run, and where subcontractors consistently fell short. Estimates that didn't hold up. Documentation that arrived too late. Coordination that broke down under pressure. Handovers that dragged on for months.

Baker Plumbing Services was founded by Mitch in 2024 as a new business, built around the standard he wanted to deliver. From day one, the focus has been on building a structured, scalable operation rather than a typical owner-operator outfit. Estimating, documentation, scheduling, compliance and quality control all run through dedicated systems and processes, delivered on the ground by a team of leading hands, tradesmen and apprentices, all trained in the Baker way.

Warren, Mitch's father, joined the team shortly after the business was founded, leaving behind a plumbing business he'd run for over 20 years to come and work for his son. He brought four decades of trade experience with him, and is still on the tools today, leading delivery on jobs across Sydney and mentoring the next generation of tradespeople coming through.

Today, Baker Plumbing Services delivers across residential, commercial and civil scopes. From single dwellings to multi-stage commercial builds, the same standard applies. Tier One processes, trade-grade delivery, and a team set up to scale with the work.
